A nice restaurant in East Ridge, TN. It’s close to I-75 and worth the stop. It has Italian and Greek food with numerous vegetarian options. We stopped during lunch when the prices are lower. I had the tortellini dish and a Caesar salad. The dressing was excellent and no anchovies! My husband had something Greek and he wished he had the dinner size portion. We’ll be going back. – Midge Phibbs
I used to eat here a lot when I had a different job. First time I’ve been back in a while. It’s still fabulous. Please try the Spaghetti a la Portofino! – Tristan.Kicker
Friendly staff. Lots of options on the menu from traditional Greek food to the Americanized stuff we think of. And who can turn down baklava for dessert? – Quasimodo
Called in order to pick up. Food was delicious, and enough to eat leftovers for dinner next day. Ready by the time I arrived. Good safety precautions for COVID. – John Wall
Always fresh and hot. Best lasagna I’ve ever had. Friendly and prompt staff. I order take out at least once a week from here and it’s consistently very good. – Jenna Hodge
I have never had a bad meal ! Everything is always top of the line !!!! 🍕🍝🥧🍷 – Wayne Mortensen
I always have a good meal here. There’s something for everyone. For me, it’s a toss up between the pizza and the gyros, but I’ve also had lots of other items on the menu as well. Would highly recommend. – Jeff Scherer
Ate there for the first time last night. I had the best Gyros I’ve ever had. The waitress was super friendly, kept our glasses full. She actually recommended the Gyros platter and she was right. Took my big sis there for her birthday and we had a great time. Great place to eat!! – Steve
Local owned and operated. Reliable high quality pizza and Italian dishes. Always pick here over any chain store. – Carl Shelton
We had a very relaxed lunch with friends after church. Our server was attentive and friendly. Great food! – Melissa Grantham
My favorite local restaurant for a sit down quick Italian meal. The prices are reasonable and comparable to a place like Cracker Barrel. The food is well made and fast. I recommend their Chicken Parmesan or the Eggplant Parmesan. The service has always been friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for decent Italian at a good price this is the place! – Nyle Vincent
We have traveled more than once three hours to ear here. It is incentive enough to find something else to do in the Chattanooga/East Ridge TN area. Their pizzas are wonderful! The service even better. So hospitable and welcoming. Just stopped in on my way home from Georgia. It’s a three hour drive but worth even eating cold with family once I get home! 🙂 – Karen Rankin
Family vibe (this was started by one Greek family, owned now by another man from Greece), with in-house-made bread sticks & pizza crust. Excellent salad & pizza bar most lunchtimes. Unremarkable, but comfortingly tasty marinara. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. – Kay Campbell
Loved Portofino’s, we have just visited one time for Fathers day and our 50th wedding Anniversary but we will be going back. Good food and friendly staff. – Sue Templeton
We just left the restaurant after having a late dinner. Our food was exceptional, great taste and generous portions at a reasonable price. Our server was marvelous. My only regret is that we’re traveling through and may not have a chance to return. – Dave Elgass
Very good food, definitely get your money’s worth. We came in late and they were still friendly. These out of town guest would highly recommend. – Ingrid Watkins
I don’t usually do online reviews but the food and atmosphere of this restaurant made me want to. From waitstaff to presentation everything was delicious and top notch. Italian/Greek fare was delicious, w/ an impressive wine selection. I was traveling, so I only looked at the baseline cost of the well populated menu; and was very happy when I got the check. I’d bring my family here twice a week if I lived in Chattanooga. Great job Portofinos I’ll be back! – Dan Donahue
